3M Stikit low profile finishing disc pad holds our 3M Stikit disc on a random orbital sander (discs sold separately). We recommend it for finishing applications on flat or contoured surfaces. Use with one of our 3M Stikit discs that is grade 220. 3M Stikit 05646 PSA disc pad is another extremely high quality product from 3M. Most of the items in this category have a maximum RPM. The maximum RPM is designated for both safety and as the upper limit for performance. In this case the maximum RPM is 10,000. When buying power tools or abrasive accessories pay close attention to the diameter of the tool for supported diameters of accessories and abrasives. This item has a 6 in diameter. This disc pad has a 11/16 in thickness. Generally, abrasive backup pads come with surfaces that accept Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) backed abrasives, Hook & Loop backed abrasives or abrasives that offer mechanical quick change capability.
