Betadine Cold Sore Ointment, if applied at the first signs of a cold sore (usually a tingling or itching sensation) can help to check the infection. This product can help reduce the risk of spreading the cold sore.

DIRECTIONS
Apply Betadine Cold Sore Ointment liberally to the affected areas at least 4 times daily.

WARNINGS
For external use only. If irritation, redness or swelling develops discontinue treatment. Do not use if hypersensitive to iodine. Use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding only if prescribed by a doctor. Do not use in infants under 6 months.
