The FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a straightforward bolt-on upgrade, packed with position-sensitive tech, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to enhance both on and off-road performance. Its type II anodized aluminum body effectively disperses heat and wards off corrosion. The 2.5-inch shock body houses an internal floating piston (IFP) that separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping. Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology provides useful position-sensitive rebound damping control, both on and off pavement. HTO mitigates abrupt top-outs and boosts comfort by channeling shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow down shock shaft speed, making it especially beneficial when using heavier, more aggressive tires or lifting the vehicle beyond its original specifications.
