• Used primarily to remove roll pin punches.
• The center of the tip of the punch has a rounded center section that fits inside the hole created by the roll pin.
• This helps prevent damaging the roll pin and easy removal of the pin.
• The octagonal shape is easier to grip when striking with a hammer and also prevents the tool from rolling away when placed on a surface.
• The tip is ground and polished.
• The material core design prevents mushrooming of the striking head.
• Tools are tempered to a hardness of 54 to 58 HRC – not just at the tip but throughout the entire length of the tool.
